Default C5 now history...On to C6

As I posted a couple months ago ,my 2000 FRC was totaled. It was a darn good car, loved it and had it for 8 years.

It was time to add another Vette but after looking at base C6's I was leaning toward staying with a C5, maybe a 03 or 04 Zo6.

Then this 2012 Cyber Gray Grand Sport caught my eye and it was all it took. It is also a very nice car and drives and handles well. I'll still will be lurking here in the C5 section (hell, I still lurk in my old C4 section).

That car is gorgeous. Long ago I decided that when I get a C6, it will be a GS just like that. Great car.

Congrats on the new car. I came close to trading my MSG vert for a C6 CyberGray GS vert a couple of years ago. In the long run, I'm glad I kept her now that the C7 has made it's debut.

Sorry your C5 had to die the way it did. Good luck with your new Grand Sport. It's a great looking ride!

Now that my divorce is final, I am thinking of trading in my 04 for a nice GS like that one. Beautiful car. Well done.

Truth!, I was just looking at a 2013, cyber gray coupe at Hendrick's in Cary similar to yours. They are absolutely beautiful. That color looks much better up close than in the pics. Great choice, best wishes with the new ride.

Your GS looks great.

But I cringe at the FRC picture. I have a pewter FRC and for me it is a disturbing picture.

I'm considering a late model GS hopefully by next spring but I was thinking red. However I must admit I like that grey paint too.
