What part of "9k Racing" are you not getting? Most of the stuff he is modding or making himself, not paying someone else. The brakes alone he has saved around $2k from what someone with fewer resources would spend.

<edit> Those brakes were not as hard to adapt to my truck, but I still paid a good grand or more than he did.

I am the owner of 9K Racing. I am doing most of it myself or with my shop at nights. I build show cars and race cars for high end clientele. I started my shop when I was 17 out of my garage and now I work on 100k+ cars.

I am at around 16k Cash right now total spent. Brakes set me back around 2k after modifications, calipers, painting, lines, custom rotors, and pads.

Wheels are on sponsorship.

Coilovers are at my distributor cost

Rest is either purchased second hand or I get really good deals on them. I never pay full retail on anything. After my GT Wing, paint, tires, interior modifications (huge list), motor work, and whatevers left will probably add me to 4-5,000 over the 20k marker setting me back a total of 25k for a car that not only looks great but can compete with 100k cars.

I like the removed brake duct on flares a lot better.

Great progress sir. I love this thread. CF really need a "build threads" section.

More parts started to come in:

Triple OG Sard RD1 Stack Gauge Cluster

Allows me to retain most of the stock gauge cluster functions but also more. This thing has displays for oil pressure, boost pressure, water temp, oil temps, fuel pressure, and anything I would ever need. On top of data logging. I had a guy from our fan page translate all of the wiring information so hopefully its not a bitch to install.

Since I am doing the c6 corvette interior conversion, I will need this to make the cluster portion work.

and the biggest things that I have been waiting for. My forgestar f14's!

Well worth the wait. 10/10. Great quality, lightweight, and looks bad as **** on my car. I will have to run a 5-10mm spacer in front to clear the bbk's and a 15mm spacer in the rear to have it sit flush with my rear fender.

Right now the parts I am missing to finish:

- Vertex Steering Wheel
- Worksbell Flip Up Quick Release
- C6 Dashboard
- Bride Zeta 3's
- Takata Harnesses
- Custom Roll Bar
- Gt Wing
(Either Voltex or Kognition)

I need a 1900mm to 2000mm GT Wing in the rear. I will probably be going with a voltex wing for those mad jdm point. I will just make a custom bumper support mounted setup or something.

I appreciate what you are doing but a wing that big on the back of any corvette is going to look out of place.

non-sense poopy pants. Unconventional maybe. If I was running an ACP front splitter I'd seriously consider a shortened BCL wing for ~$650.00 and make it adjustable (Kognition is damn near 2 grand). Hell- that's just what I'm going to do.

@9k
Sorry didn't see you needed 1900mm to 2000mm... holy hell (BCL is only ~1700 mm)

Bumper mount could be pulled off on the vette versus boot mount:

I was looking into only bumper mounted wing. One of our workers is good friends with the guys at BCL. Maybe I can check into it. I've installed a few on customers cars and they were alright.

I don't think mounting it to the frp trunk would be ideal.

I checked into Voltex for a 1900mm wing and they wanted a little under 2g's my price for one. I MIGHT. Go that route, but its still up in the air. I want a quality piece, but dropping a down payment on a wing doesn't seem justifiable.

This wing mount setup looks pretty beast. Maybe weld a custom bash bar or whatever to hold the weight of it and bracket it off.

I thought you were going with the new F14 Super concave? I really wanted to see how that would have looked. Either way still and awesome wheel

Joey why did you have wheels built that need spacers instead of building wheels that fit right?
