punctuation helps.
Or inference works just as well because I did post this in the thread with the same name in the title

Evo 8 and 9 seats are built the same, but the 9s are finished in nicer material

As to the X seats: you may be able to do it if you deal with the seatbelt arrangement (more complicated than it sounds, believe me) but I don't know, the space you have to work with in these is VERY limited and those seats are larger than the 8/9 Recaros

I had a little issue getting the GTR seats to mount up correctly due to them being lopsided without the factory mounts. After hours of work we got them to fit in. I just need to wire in the seat for auto recline and seat warmers.

I will snap pics in a bit.

Very ambitious project! I am looking forward to seeing this car finished.

BTW I would love to be able to get ASM S2k styled front fender for the vette:

or J's

Long time, no update. I've been keeping busy and haven't had time to touch this thing 24/7, but during breaks. I was able to tinker with things here and there.

I finally was able to get the ctsv brakes on 100%. Here is a quick rundown on what I had to do.

Cadillac CTSV Brakes installed on the c5

- Modified spindle
- Centric Cadillac CTSV Rotor
(hub area was machined out for corvette fitment)
- Aftermarket Steel Braided Brake Lines

And Walah. I still have to drive on it till I can give a review. I would recommend this mod to someone who has the resources to do so as myself, if not it will be difficult to replicate for regular readers.

I have been spent hours (collected time) pacing back and forth on how to finalize this bodykit. After playing with cardboard and blue painters tape, I have finally found my solution.

Here is a quick rundown on what the final product will have on it:

1 - The front fenders are going to be redone again with a custom zr1 vent setup I built and the flare will be followed all the way downward.

2 - The rear fenders will run no vents in the panels, but the nsx sideskirt on the bottom for the rear brake ducts and styke points.

3 - Kognition GT Wing
Pic for reference:

PS - If you are selling one or know anyone with one for a decent deal, contact me. Cash in hand.

4 - Modified the front bumper so it deleted all the foglights and side markers. Smooth all around except for the main mouth with a lancer evo trim behind it.

5 - Sideskirts will be left open with no cover and will stretch out to the front fender. I've been debating to do a Feed rx7 fd3s style / js racing s2k style front fender, but I don't think it can be pulled off without looking weird.

6 - Side mirrors came back from powdercoat to match the fuel door and rest of the little accents. My signature build colors are black and gold. Variants from polished, matte, and wrinkled.

7 - I want a hood vent or louvers but I will just complete the car and do it later. Its very difficult to find a functional perfect vent setup without messing up the cleanliness of the front end.

8 - Front splitter has been made, but not mounted until the rest of the portions are done. Spoiler photo of it is under the front bumper pic.

That is a ~really~ cool project! I'm glad to see that you've gotten back to it, and even have the time to post an update. I really appreciate the hard work and creativity that you're putting into it, and I love seeing the pictures!

Thanks for the update!

Any updates? Love what you are doing and have been following the thread. May not be for everyone but I think the effort you are putting into the car to modify it to your liking is interesting. My skill level tops out at changing fluids and the occasional plug and wire change.

I've been swamped at a work in conjunction of not knowing exactly what I want on top of waiting for parts to come in so my build's pace has slowed drastically. My wheels should be here in a week or so from ForgeStar so then I can start molding the front fenders around it.

In the times I haven't been on here, I snagged a few magazine features and best of show at Long Beach Slammed Society x Offset Kings so it hasn't been a total waste of time.

I recently shaved all the rear fenders down and decided to go with no vent and only the bottom sideskirt brake duct. I am happy with how it looks. The main reason I removed the vents were because colliding body lines.

Customized Interior Rally Foot Rests for Driver and Passenger

Also after hours of thinking, I have finally decided on what I want for the interior. More to come once the parts start to arrive. Hint : Its from another corvette

Modified the "C5.5" bumper a bit to take away from the whole corvette front bumper look.

The nose was notched out and smoothed. Fog lights were shaved and the bottom lip was smoothed to match the top nose.

Deleted the door's upper body line and started to get rid of the door handles entirely and just use a key operated popper system.

Now here is my whole issue, the front fenders. DUN DUN DUN

I am torn between two options. Clean front fender with no vents or anything. Just baby smooth.

OR

ZR1 Style Front Fender Vents with a little 9K Racing twist.

I am 70% sure I will just go with the clean front fenders, but nothing will be set in stone until my other set of sideskirts come in and the wheels arrive.

I could probably add more aggressiveness with a set of sideskirt splitters, front bumper splitter, and a set of intense canards similiar to something from RaysFactory.
