Farewell guys...I traded my C5!
Hi guys,
I am no longer a Corvette owner. I decided to trade it due to the fact that a two seater just doesn't work for a family of 5! I had to take my kids for seperate rides in the Corvette. I went a totally different route and traded it for this 1968 Chevelle SS396 4 speed. I specifically wanted a 68 because you can tell if it is a real SS by the VIN number, and this one is the real thing. Having a blast with it...but it certainly drives different than the Corvette! I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone on this site who answered all my questions throughout the years. This site rocks!

With my kids getting older I went the other direction going from a 71 GS to my 02! Family is key though!
Good Luck and enjoy!

that was a pretty solid trade. the value of chevelles has been going up the past ten years or so, looks like a clean ride
only thing that comes to mind on the downside is that carburator and $4/gal gas

Nice trade, But I am sure you will miss the mileage the C5 got, Lets see a 396 gets what about 9-11 average mpg?

Very nice!
Now do a LS transplant and you will have the best of both worlds! Slap in a 427 LS7 LS motor and it'll even lighten it up!
Thanks,Matt
