2004 z06, 62k miles, borla catback, short throw shifter, been dropped about an inch...overall the car is in very good condition. Interior is great, drivers seat has some wrinkles but no tears or rips. The car drives well, has plenty of power.
Negatives are that borla can be a bit loud. It's pretty low to the ground and someone went a little crazy with a buffer on the trunk and minor swirls on roof...but it's not terrible, just needs a little TLC in that regard.
Figured since it was 70 miles from home I could afford to pay bit more for convenience...

Couple of questions for you guys...what oil temp is appropriate for WOT? I waited till 185* which took a surprisingly long time to hit.
Anything in particular I need to be aware of? Allt he fluids were checked or changed by the dealer. Do I need to change the coolant? I've read some issues with GM coolant, but not sure ti impacts these cars?

Never understood why people take the stock titanium exhaust off to replace with an aftermarket exhaust that just makes it louder. As you say, some even make it unbearable at highway speed.
It has a short throw shifter, but still has the stock ****?
I went retro Hurst on mine..
I have always heard that oil temp of 160 deg. is sufficient.
Even though Dexcool is supposed to be good for 5 years, I do not let coolant go over 2-3 years without changing.
I usually don't try to flush the whole system, just drain what I can from the radiator drain plug, and refill with 50/50 Dexcool.
I have had problems with Dexcool on other cars, but not the Corvette. It may depend on how air tight the system is.

Clean car! im glad to see it has all black interior, alot of guys like the "Mod Red".. not my cup of tea.. esp on a red car, its just too much. Look like Borla Singer exhaust (small muffler=loud exhaust)

If the coolant was indeed flushed recently, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. But if it was just "checked" or topped off, and you don't know the real age of the fluid, then I would have it flushed.

Looks really nice. Like the red. Looks like somebody took care of the car and I wish you luck with your new ride.

Yes I think so. Mechanically it seems perfect (knock on wood). The paint needs a bit of TLC there's some "spider web" effect (my term I guess) from someone who went a bit crazy with a buffer. But I know a guy who's fantastic at detailing cars and will help me out.

Any recommendations on brake fluid that will stand up to some track driving? Also what coolant and slave cylinder fluid would you guys recommend? I may have all the fluids changed out in a week or two. They all seem ok to me, no burned smell from any of them, oil is brand new so I probably won't do it.
