Default Pfadt gen I coilovers noisy?

Wondering if anyone else is having issues with their coilovers being somewhat noisy? For example going into a parking lot where the car will flex I hear a sound that can be best described as a "twang". Sounds like a spring possibly binding? I lubed up the bushings on the back two and that seemed to take care of that sound from the rear but now I am getting the same noise from the drivers front as well. Normal or me just being paranoid? And yes I have made sure the top nuts are tight on all four. Just looking for some feedback on what some other owners are hearing if anything.

Mine (black, gen 1) are quiet. As a matter of fact I would say they are the best mod I ever did to the car.

I love the stance but the noise is driving me nuts. Every time I go into a parking lot all I hear is that binding noise.

Has it always been that way since installation? Or have you had it jacked up recently? Mine will do that every now and then after it has been on a lift, or I have had it on jack stands... I have had mine now for about 4 yrs... Love em!!!

03SD, my suggestion would be to shoot Eric an email regarding your concerns. Eric is an outstanding customer service supervisor and will give your concerns outmost attention & consideration. Mention I spoke highly of him on your CF thread (a little grease & lube will always help matters) and that PeterB. from the WindyCity passed the email address on to you. I'm sure it will be resolved. Keep us posted & good luck.

I have had it on and off the lift a few times this past week and that has made it worse. So I need to pull them all apart and lube up the bushings? I am thinking about trying that this weekend.
