Default Owners of Twin-Cone (aka Ram's Horn) Polished CAI

I'd be very interested in seeing how current and former owners of the twin-cone cold air intake have theirs mounted. I have a problem with my air bridge touching my hood, even with the liner removed, that has created a black spot on my otherwise white hood. If you have pics of your setup please post them so I can see where my problem is coming from.

Also, if any of you have pics of the support/mounting bracket please post those as well. I bought mine from a forum member and it did not come with anything to attach the intake to the shroud. Also, if you might know where I could order just the mounting bracket itself please let me know. I can make one if I know what it's supposed to look like, but I'd prefer to have one made by the company that makes them.

Default Dual cone setup

I didn't have any problems with it hitting anywhere, it might have touched the liner lightly -i have since replaced it with a vararam air intake

I see that you're using the stock coupler; I have one of the smooth couplers. That might be the difference, but I also noticed that your filters are not the same as the ones that I have.

I would appreciate it. Let me know if you find it and I'll send you the money to cover shipping.

Here's a not so good pic of mine. It's not the stock air bridge and the raised emblem did rub and make an indentation in the hood liner. I removed the raised emblem and replaced the liner. Haven't had a problem since.

Where did you get your air bridge? The raised emblem on my stock air bridge is what is hitting my hood.

double check and make sure you have the air bridge locked down correctly. I have the stock air bridge and it didn't hit any more than it did before I added the twin cone. It did touch, but it touched before as well. there isn't much room there. I have an aftermarket hood now so pics wouldn't help much.

The air bridge was on the car when I bought it so I don't know what brand it is. The emblem was a stick on like the one on the nose. I replaced it with a custom sticker and then had the bridge cleared.
