I never was interested; they look so-so, but wouldn't really want to own one.

And if they haven't changed the way they ride they feel like riding in a wood wagon.

I think about it sometimes, and then I remember the inch wide panel gaps, the Dodge Ram interior, the side pipes that catch the car on fire, and the lack of fuel economy. Always makes me remember I made the right choice

But those are what puts it in the same league as Ferraris and lambos.... The spontaneous combustion......

They look broken in the middle, at the hood/windshield meeting.

The 96-02's are getting a little more reasonable in price.
450hp/490tq would be a stout platform to start with too.

No, not really. I prefer the vette lineage.

Nope. Can't stand the sound of a V-10. I like the look and power, hate the sound though.

Yeap, if I don't get a C6Z in a couple of years I'm getting a Viper.

Yeah, I'd get one in a heartbeat if I could! The Viper's the last true definition of a "beastly" car, especially if you get one of the early models. Health & safety be damned!

The early ones were beastly alright. On a rainy day they were uncontrollable.

I have had two of them. A red 1997 and a yellow 2001. I will have another some day. Lots of fun, lots of looks.

I was very tempted.....until I had one.....never again.

If you're about status....buy it...
If you're about capability...don't...
If you're about reliability....don't...

Corvette is a better platform...point blank...
