Default c6 GS sways

quick question.

would the C6 grand sport sway bars be too much for a base c5?

im getting ready to turn it into half track car half weekend car. im going to put 265/30/18 in the front and 305/35/19 in the rear.

would that be ok? or too much for the car?

i think it would be too much for that tire width I would opt for the C6 Z51 sway bars, I can't recall the thickness on them atm though

Yes they will be fine, I ran 275/315 setup and I used C6Z sways with PFADT Coilovers, great combo

But then you have the wider tires that allow the Z06 sways to be used. Anything under 305 width for the rear needs to have the Z51 bars.

You should be A-OK. Providing you stick with 305 width rear tires.

I actually have a set of front and rear C6 Z51 sways being delivered today! Installation tomorrow... Tail of the Dragon Monday(ish) .

As Mike pointed out, as long as you keep the 305 width rear tires the Z06 bars are the ones you want. If you go smaller than that, or plan to, you might want to look into Z51 bars instead.
