Default Hello

I am new to the Corvette world, as the search is underway for a used C5 or C6 Corvette, the car I have wanted for years! I am joining the NM Corvette Club, and am new to the Corvette Forum. As a rookie to the world of Corvettes, I welcome tips from you more seasoned Corvette owners regarding how and where to look for solid used Corvettes (wedorman1@comast.net). Bill

Welcome in and let your wallet be your guide. (That was an attempt at humor, you'll get a lot of that on here).

Hello Bill, welcome to the best forum you will ever find. There are many good people here and some know these cars inside out,i mean every nut and bolt.I would lean towards the for sale sections in this forum as these are constantly being updated with new listings.Best advice i can give is to have patience and that special Vette you have in mind will come along.Do a ton of research and ask many questions, the good folks here will be happy to answer.

Quick Tip:

Go with the nicest newest lowest milage one that excites you to no end
Then go a few dollars over your set budget to find an even more exciting one than the first one

Happy Hunting

What do you think about the "Corvette Trader" website as a way to look for a Corvette?

Welcome, and tell Phil Ellison (NM club member) that Jim from So Cal says "Hi" when you meet him. He helped me out by test driving the 04 CE I bought in your town in March.

Good luck!

Welcome and good luck. I just recently re-joined the corvette owner's club in April and couldn't be happier with the car or the people on these forums.

Default All things Corvette. . . Welcome !

As other have welcomed you, so shall I. This is a great place for an what is an encyclopedia of Corvette items, repairs, modifications and knowledge. And I would be amiss if I didn't mention that a large number of our members have crossed the 200.000 mile threshold, so you will learn how tough these cars are and how far they will go with proper care.

Anyway, Welcome !
