Default New member, new ride.

Just picked up a A4, Z51, G90 equipped 99 Coupe. It has Kooks LTs, Corsa catback, Z06 vent, Z06 seats, CAI, and a mild cam. Came with both tops too! I couldn't be happier. This forum helped with the purchase and negotiating with the buyers guides and what not. So I figured I would sign up.

Way to go man, nice choice. I hope I'm the next one with the "new member, new ride" in the subject line.

Thanks. I'm pretty solid on LS drivetrains. The electronic wizadry in the newer vettes is something new to me.

Forgot to mention also has chrome ZR1 rims on it already.

Congrats, we recently found our '98 in blue and if this deal had not worked out we were on our way to look at a pewter one next.
Looks like you got a good one.

I do enjoy the pewter. Reminds of my old Silverado. It does look odd flanked by my black Formula and black Avalanche but it was mechanically sound. Never had any body module or column lock issues (knock on wood) with a refreshed transmission. Couldn't pass it up at 10.5k.

The drive train on a Vette is nothing like the LS Pontiac, Did you know the trans is in the rear of the car?
Nice ride you have.

Congrats on the new ride! Sounds like you have an excellent setup to start with!

This is the place to be for everything Corvette. However hang around here a while and the mods will never stop.
