I have a chance to buy a used top and was wondering if anyone has ever swapped the whole assembly. Anything I should look out for or recommendations? I have a black vert with light tan top in excellent condition, car only has 27,000 miles. I am considering buying a black top complete assembly to swap in. I am hoping this is a lot easier than tackling just a top replacement, no stapling or stretching. Am I right? All advice is appreciated!
