To the OP, I use Adam's Detailing Spray on mine and it works very well.

Waterless detailer? never heard of such an item. Windex is a commonly used detailer and it about 99.8 & water. there are many many many detailers out there most are 98 %+ water, but I've never saw a product that claimed to be waterless.

There are products on the market that you clean & detail your car without water, they are normally called WATERLESS and some quick detailers are also considered waterless because you do not add any water to the product you use it straight from the bottle. Most waterless cleaners you just spray them on to your paint, they emulsify the dirt and it then it becomes like a polish.

Just search for waterless detailing and will get lots of options one company I recall was called Croftgate my sister was using their products.

I use Zaino on the C5 once or twice a week. Z6 works very well for me. I have tried Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Turtle Wax Ice. Both are good and many on CF have excellent results with them, I just seem to come back to Z6 on the Vette. Friday's I follow it with Z8.

Poorboys Spray and Wipe. I use it frequently. I have not taken a hose to my vette in about a month because the weather has been great. Every Sunday morning I use Spray and Wipe followed by Spray and Gloss, sometimes with a coat of wax in between.

All of the big brand names have detailers that do not require water.. that why they are called quick detailers.. the other stuff is called "SOAP".
Mothers, Maguire's, Adams, turtle wax detailer, black magic, Zaino all contain water... etc. All this stuff has been around for 15 years.. certainly nothing New.
Like I said , back in the 50's and 60's we used Windex as the first detailer.. it was great for chrome and even paint. JUst like todays detailers but slightly more refined.. you could take a bottle of Windex today and you would be surprised how similar a product it is to a new age detailer.. Windex is also good for Pimples. LOL

Look up chemical guys they have a waterless carwash detail stuff.

I use Autogeeks waterless carwash, works great for me, I wouldn't put my local water in a dogs bowl

I used to use Griot's Speed Shine back when I used wax on my car and it was great, but since I switched to Zaino several years ago, it no longer worked (it will cloud up into a haze after a few hours). So now I just use Z6 & Z8 on a daily basis.

If the car gets really dirty (more than just dust), but not enough to justify an all out car wash, I use Griots Waterless-Spray-On Car Wash then follow up with Zaino.

I ALWAYS use a California Duster lightly first before using any wipe-on product unless the car was just washed.

My Z (Millennium Yellow) went from June 2012 when I moved to WA till June 2013 when it was sunny enough and I had a hose for our house to wash it....it went for a year with out a wash. I detailed it a couple times a week with large CA duster to remove the dust, then Mequires or Armor-All (contains some wax) quick detailers and clean microfiber towels. The couple times it got light rain, I wiped it off quickly, and then did a detail again. First 3 months it was under a car port, then garaged all winter/spring..

Pics in the Carport late Summer 2012. If your careful you can do a very good job without damaging the paint. Car now looks better than it ever has.

I currently use the Croftgate spray. Works well, but I am bit concerned about buildup over time. It seems more like a light wax because it dries to a haze and then you polish it off. I have used Windex in the past also, but have been a bit concerned about what it will do to the paint.

I'm not a fan of the waterless stuff personally. My C5 was black and always showed swirls etc. after an application.

Yes, I agree totally. You can't use waterless stuff exclusively because of the buildup of chemical residue. I try to go with a good traditional wash every other time or every 3rd time at most.

I use "Mothers Spray Detailer" and it works and smells GREAT!

Optimum No Rinse waterless wash. Best I've tried personally so far. Used to use Poorboys Spray and wash followed by Spray and gloss, but have switched and never looked back
