Default Can you guess the hp with these specs? (Before monday's dyno)

Specs:
2002 C5 Coupe Z51
Electron Blue with torch red interior (the fast colored kind, right?)
6 Speed

Mods:
LG Street Headers
Borla Straight Pipes Exhaust
Fast 92mm Intake
LS2 90mm Throttle Body
Z06 grills
OEM Z06 speedline wheels
Z06 rear brake scoops, fully functional
No Catalytic converters
Tuned by Doug at ECS

It may be a little far fetched, but i'm praying i can put down 400 at the wheels. Only downfall is that it's going on a ford dyno. So i hear the numbers might read a little high. Maybe someone could shed some light as to how high ford dyno's usually are compared to normal ones used on vettes.

GUESS AWAY - Winner will receive nothing but bragging rights.

Default Not even close to 400rwhp, but all it takes is money!

LG Street Headers + No Cats + Borla Straight Pipes + Tune= 35rwhp
FAST 92 + LS2 TB= 10rwhp
Electron Blue with torch red interior + Z06 grills + OEM Z06 speedline wheels + Z06 rear brake scoops, fully functional= 0rwhp
Total = 45rwhp
Stock = 290rwhp
Grand Total= 335rwhp
1/4mile time= 13.3sec

I hate to say it but on an accurate dyno you should be in the 350 RWHP range

Your gonna need a cam and headwork to get in that territory realistically.

Z06 grills, brake scoops, and wheels don't add horsepower btw. They just make the horsepower you have seem bigger. LOL.

You should be able to put down right around:

350+ RWHP

That is standard with your mods

400 RHWP you will need H/C to surpass that!

Thanks,Matt

I agree with everything here H.P. wise BUT I know [if he can drive] his quarter mile E.T will be in the mid to high 12's with slicks!
Been there and done that..

Bone stock (6 speed Z51 with 315 rear end) your going to dyno around ~310 HP to the wheels on a DynoJet. 273 rear end 6 speeds normally dyno about ~290rwhp.

Why not go with LG Pro's ? You will get more out of them than the streets. The Pro's will be much better for future mods too.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I doubt it will break 350 rwhp.

I'm going to guess ~345 rwhp.

You guys are right, I was trying to boost my self esteem here. I did forget to mention I have a halltech intake if that means anything. Anyone have any idea how much more a ford dyno puts out than normal dyno?

This shop has:
Superflow SF-901engine dynamometer
Superflow AutoDyn SF-840 chassis dynamometer

Is this going to be diff or exact same #'s as dynojet?

I didn't either but then again I don't know what he ate for breakfast either. I am just saying that with his current modest mods he should be able to get his car into the high 12's with no problem. I'm an old "kermudgen" and my car with 321 rwhp ran 12.79 so I know his can too if he can drive and get a decent 60 foot time.
