I went yesterday. The location was good, especially since it was about 3 hours closer for me to drive to it. Seemed like the vendors didn't have much this year, and there were not many cars or people in attendance yesterday (could be that it was a work day for many). Today may have been a totally different story though. I guess I was expecting more at the new location, but didn't get it. Having some of the C7s there was definitely a plus, and getting to actually sit in them and see all the new features was great. Chevy has me hooked on getting a C7 one of these days.

Ok think the new venue is fantastic...especially the street party in downtown champaign. If the weather had been nicer it would have been a perfect spot, already looking forward to next year's show, hopefully with some better weather.

Went ALL DAY Saturday, my first BG. I walked in the gates about 7:45 AM and was sitting in a new C7 in less than two minutes!! That was a damn good start in my opinion.
Having never been and not knowing what to expect I did have a great time.
I spent a bit of time in the Mid America tent where they were doing exhaust installations, that was fun looking at the smiles on guys faces the first time their cars were started with the new sound!
Couple comments:
* Not as many vendors as I would have expected - No Zaino?
* Auction was fun as I got a spot in the front row as they pulled the cars out
* Everyone has a Corvette story. I found them fun to hear as well as telling them mine!
* Watching the cars judged was just amazing!!
* There were Corvettes parked everywhere!
* The parade was a bit of a downer. They were hoping to beat the record of 2000+ cars and I don't think they reached 600. The gray skies certainly didn't help.
* It's certainly an adult crowd and most everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
* The Corsa guys identified my exhaust as an early Pace and gave me a Corsa hat. (If you remember my exhaust has no names on the tips and pretty much stumped most here)
* I found a powder coated Jake logo so I can fab up my own exhaust plate!
* The seats in the C7 are sooo comfortable!
I will go again. I will bring my car. I will even bring my wife, well maybe!
