209time: Good writeup with the photos. However, how easy/hard was it to remove the stock light unit and install the projector unit?

It's really pretty easy...took me a about 1.5 hours to change out both light housings. I could do it much quicker now that I've done it once.

Just take your time, and follow the various threads' instructions that are out there on this mod.

Nicely done !

Now once you get used to that your going to want to do the Bi-Xenon conversion to them.

The High beams suck on the ACAs.

its very easy...after you remove the shroud, top cover and bracket you only have three screws that actually hold the light unit in place...

Default A few dusk pics

I know that some don't like the blue hue, but I actually do like it...and it matches the hue of the corners well too.

WOW.....those are some nice pics. I would send that first one to Posterburner.com and get a poster size done for the wall. Good looking ride. I saved the pic so I can order the same for my car....LOL.

Thanks guys!! I'm very happy with how they look/perform. Great upgrade/update from stock. I highly recommend them...and Pete (Quik Z06) has 'em at a great price.

Okay, I've got a weird one for you guys, what would cause the buckets to go up in parking light function position and headlight? See the link to my thread:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...ght-probs.html

I understand why they wouldnt go up and down but not why they would always go up in parking light function.

Have these as well from JW .. Recently the pass side I heard a loud fast clicking and now only the Halo operates on that side. The headlight doesn't come on .. Bad ballast or bulb? Any ideas?

usually a damaged or disconnected wire between bulb and ballast. the clicking you hear is a high voltage arc. I would have that checked out immediately and unplug the fuse to that headlight in the meantime.

FrankLP did you tie your halos into your DRL's? If so what color are the wires? Thanks
