My search is over
Joined the family earlier today
Started driving at 7am got home around 5:30pm and this is what I ended up with.
Only thing left to do is learn how to drive it since it's a 6-speed
Some details on the car
2000 coupe
6-speed
Red interior (seller said it's one of ~34 with the yellow, Anyone verify this)
Single owner car w/ 66k
Aftermarket air filter
Corsa exhaust
All original paperwork along with parts
I had a chevy dealer check it out and some things I know need to be adressed are.
- Rear tires (seller included a set)
- rear Brakese
What are some first things to do other than enjoy the car ?

Nice! Congratulations.
I think the seller may be correct about the yellow exterior/red interior combo. I remember reading a thread a few years ago about how that combo was a special "non-recommended" order process that required additional paperwork to be filed. It certainly is rare. A remember a few "McVette" and "Mustard and Ketchup" comments were thrown out there.

I happen to like the color combo then again I drive the Popsicle Corvette. Your car reminds me of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile paint scheme. Go enjoy your car, and don't let anyone give you crap about the colors.

Well if you drove that long you must know how to drive a 6 speed by now.

First off Con-Grats what a sweet ride and at the end you asked this
What are some first things to do other than enjoy the car ?
First thing is RESPECT the BEAST dont know how old you are as you say you dont know how to drive a stick.
ENJOY THE CAR
What I would do is start a slush fund cause you can drop a grand and not even know it.
ENJOY THE CAR
Check for a club in your area or where other vette heads hang out and get to know them and this place will drive you crazy as thier are over 500,000 or so members here doing one thing or another to thier car and it can be overload in a great way LOL.
ENJOY THE CAR
Use the search function you will find everything about your car, Learn how to pull your own codes from the DIC Information screen on your car.
ENJOY THE CAR
Most Important and I mean Most Importment SAVE-BORROW-HOARD
MONEY
And did I mention
ENJOY THE CAR
