Default Mods are finally done!!!

Well, have been waiting for the time to get my latest round of mods and upgrades completed, started buying a number of items 2 years ago.
After relocating twice in 3 years we finally settled down(I hope)!!!

My stock C5 5 Pewter Coupe, is now revamped somewhat.

Thanks to the great vendors on the forum who make it so easy to spend money with y

Dennis at DD - Kenwood NAV, 10" sub & stealth box, Kenwood 5 Chanel amp; TSW Nurburgring 18" and 19" wheels
Chip at CCA - stainless steel engine bay hoses, chrome catch can, electro polished wire screens
TheRadioFlyer - ACA Bi-Xeon headlights w/LED high beams, clear corners and numerous led lights
Mike the Powder Coater - powder coated calipers
Doug Rippie Motorsports -DRM stainless steel brake lines straight JIC fittings
Corvette Guys - electric flip up number plate, and stuff!
Vette Nuts - stuff!
Anthony at LG Motorsports - GT2 Coil Overs = Awesome!!!
& and others on the famous auction web site....... C6Z06/Grand Sport calipers, discs
Hawk pads

Before:

The "Huney Do Deal":

Then with some effort, stripping her down:

The new parts, some anyway:

The difference in sway bar sizing,!!

Then holes to fill up:

Trial fit C6z06/Grand Sport Brakes and TSW Nurburgring 18's

The powder coated calipers

Front:
Lg Coil Overs and Hotchkiss Sway Bar

Finished

Fitted Michelin Pilot Super Sports, this car rides magnificently on the coil overs; handles like on rails; those new Sway Bars will take this car beyond my limits am sure.....
I love the way she now sits, about an inch and a quarter lower....
The under hood needs a couple more tweaks (chrome alternator, brake master cylinder and reservoir chrome cover)

Now to enjoy the beautiful Wisconsin summer, and fall

Nice job and great pics! It's great when a project comes together.

It's also laughable comparing the stock OEM swaybars to the Z06 or aftermarket alternatives. I noticed an immediate performance improvement even before I upgraded my wheels and shocks!

The chrome alternator is also on my "someday" list. Either that or a date with a powdercoater.

Impossible. Mods are never done. You may be on hiatus but unless you have suffered some tragic event you'll find something else to mod

Very nice; only a few things left to do?

One will be to get rid of those body side moldings; they don't look good on ANY sports car.

Nicely done!!!!

What sold you on the LG's? Did you consider Pfadt's. Getting ready to purchase coil overs and not sure which way to go.

Yes I sure did, was a tough call to make, I feel both are excellent products for their values.
Sent you a PM.
I don't think you can go wrong either way!
