I'm in Atlanta or I'd check it out for ya.

My bet... "Flooded by water".... very slight bent rod, or just out of whack that the rod/or crank bearing is hurt (my specific bet). Either way the engine comes apart.

You can buy used short/long blocks or complete engines. Then labor to swap. Or you can just have a machine shop check your rods you give them and(anyway) put new bearings in the existing shortblock, might as well refresh heads. Money all around.

Sorry for the news... Bam

If its cheap, my buddy is wanting a Porsche Boxster. I'm trying to save him from *** flavor. If you don't wanna pay/fix the Z I'd suggest he buy this and I help pull the engine and rebuild it. Long shot being in Atlanta but thought I'd offer the final option (sell as a hurt car).

No joke, I don't want pull it and work, LOTS of work to do for nothing but beer and pizza, but would make a full picture rebuild thread for the people to see. Kinda fun.

Good luck either way you go.

If the oil was milky it would be a blown head gasket which has nothing to do with hydrolocking the engine.
