What is this connection for?
This connection has been unplugged ever since I bought the car with no ill effects. Just wondering what it is for. It's to the left of the intake as you are looking at the car head on and is attached to the radiator shroud with a plastic clip. Picture below.

It's the connector for the under hood light.
The connector, shown in the picture should be taped to keep moisture & condensation out of it.... just in case you should ever want to hook back up.

Very well. That makes sense. I just noticed it again today and remembered to ask about it. I'm going to scrub the connections tomorrow and then tape it up.
