Default Corvette Casualties

I am quite sure that it is the last thing that people are worried about right now, but in watching all the coverage of tornado devistation in Oklahoma, I couldn't help but notice two destroyed 'Vettes so far. One red Z06 and a yellow late-model C3.

Always a shame to see the destruction, but the cars get me more than other material things.

Obviously lives and safety come first, but like I say, I couldn't help but notice.

I noticed a red C4 among the rubble....Can't imagine what it would be like to lose everything or to have your personal belongings found 2 miles away.

Honestly, a car wouldn't be my top concern - the house and all it's irreplaceable memories would have to rank first. But being a car enthusiast it is hard to see a nice ride destroyed. Prayers for all those in OK that were affected by the tornado.

God give the suvivors the strength they need to deal with their tragedy, and another caring shoulder to cry on.

Like the saying...... There for the grace of God go I.

I saw the red C4 too. I don't see how nature could make such beautiful days then turn on us so cruely. Makes me wonder.

Yup, couldn't help but notice while you sit in your living room with the roof still attached.

I was not at home 2 years ago when I heard that a tornado went through my town in central North Carolina. My cars were far down on the list of things I was worried about. Luckily, our neighborhood was untouched.

Prayers go out to the families of OK. Yes, we'll never truly understand how we have some great days and others are tragic until we meet our maker. Many things are unknown which makes us wonder until the timing is correct.
