No need for fiberglass worrk. Make the grill the same shape as the corner lights and have it attach in the same factory mounting points. Just unbolt corner lights and bolt in the grill with the led fixture. You coukd even run a white led strip in the front of the grill as the drl and an amer led strip towards the side for the turn signal.

I'll have to think about that one.

Le Mans Master
I could build the grille lights with the LEDs built-in, but removing the corner lights would require extensive fiberglass work.

Working on a prototype that will be sent to a guinea-pig client this weekend. It will mount on the exhaust hanger bolts and shine through the rear valance vents.

Still working in progress. I'm consulting with another vette owner that owns an Alarm/stereo installation shop. I have never installed a car alarm and I felt it would be wise to get some pointers from a more experienced person....plus I promised him referrals for my system once we figure out all the kinks.

I didn't read the entire thread before posting; sorry if these are duplicates.
1. If you're doing underhood LED's, an on/off switch would be great to prevent battery drain when the hood is open but the light isn't needed.
2. A white/amber switchback version of your C5 CREE LED DRL's would be awesome.
3. LED lighting strips on new cars are transitioning from strips of multiple individual LED's to a smoother "bar" of light. The C7 headlights have this, and Dodge is updating their vehicles' racetrack taillights to be a smooth solid line instead of a bunch of dots. So... A smooth LED strip in the DRL corner lenses or in the headlights could be very popular and first to market for the C5's.

2. We are working on the Gen 4 switchback LED bulbs using Samsung LEDs. The amber output is on par with the factory light and the white output is incredible. I'm expecting prototypes of this mid next week for tetsing
3. I have a version of this being tested on my car at the moment. It will be available in white, amber or switchback and looks much cleaner than any previous design. I should have photos of this tomorro or Tuesday at the latest.
