I would want something that works like the factory ones on newer cars do. Replacing the key cylinder all together and not using a key at all. Losing vats isnt really a concern.

How about a pair of projector style driving lights to replace the fog lights? Bonus points for making them use lenses that don't crack if you give them a dirty look.

I'm liking the Underhood led floodlights.
I did my own, came out okay but would rather buy something
That was oem looking. Blew a fuse when I did the install so looking to avoid that next time I replace.

Thanks-Eric

Oh I loved the look of those light cannons. Wish I would have jumped at the chance to get those when he was selling them.

I'll have to look into that. I may do a prototype test on my car....though the though of no longer needing my cool flip-key fob makes me sad.

Driving lights by design project a sharp beam where projector lights throw out a wide pattern (the OEM lights ARE projectors)

If you want driving lights, your best option is the Hella micro DE xenon version. I used to have them on my 97, but the problem is the mounting height. Even though they have a very narrow beam, being 12" off the ground meant they had to be aimed at near 0 degrees elevation to give any usable output. This has a tendency to blind oncoming traffic rather consistently.

The projector setup is the only feasible option for that light location.

They'll be on the website soon.

Haha, but just think how much cooler it would be to walk up to your car and not need to take anything out and it unlocks automatically and turns on with the push of a button.

I would gladly volunteer my car as a second test subject if needed.

I would be interested in a hover conversion like Doc had on the Delorean.

I thought of this the other night.

Some Lights that light up across your hood and trunk ONLY when you hit the unlock button on your key fob. Kinda lights up the car's shape as you approach it at night.

Working on them. Should see a prototype in about 2-3 weeks.

How would this be done without interfering with the body lines?

True... I'm not sure how it would look overall. Would be interesting to see how it looked at night in a dark area of the parking lot when you hit the "unlock" botton on your car.
