LED Reverse Lights
Simple mod. I went with a pair of 22-watt bulbs and it is amazingly brighter than factory.
Q - can the factory wiring support more? Such as the 50+ watt units?
These are the 1157 variety.

if you wanna go that bright on your reverse lights, just get an HID reverse kit.

Agreed. If you want brighter, you need these with the TRUE 20w LED bulbs.

Agreed. Getting the clear-faced Adjure boxes would take it from "searing bright light" to "eyeballs melting."

I know this thread has been quiet for a while, but after poking around, it looks like they are now trying to rate the LED bulbs in terms of equivalent standard bulbs, which is where you'd get the "50 watt" number.

Same experience here. I purchased these to add to my Adjure Housing a few months ago and they are "BRIGHT"! Can't imagine anyone needing anything more unless your car is stuck in reverse.

Does anyone have experience with the Adjure Housings with either the spray tint or the tinted covers? I'm darkening all of my lights and am curious to know the light output of that conversion with a thin layer of spray tint.

If you want the look of blacked out tail lights without reduction in output, you can order the adjure reverse lights, remove the lenses, paint the reflectors gloss black and re-install the lenses. Yes it's a pain in the butt, however the results are VERY nice looking. You can see it in this video:

Thank you for the reply! That is what I was looking for and actually prefer that look over the black-out. Is it just head light style sealant holding the lens on?
