Default oil life monitor?

I was looking for a way to reset the change oil light... assumed car had one. And I keep finding how to set engine oil life?

I went through all the gauges and all the options. I don't have an engine oil life gauge?

Is there a change oil light on a 2000, and how do I reset it.
If I have this engine life thing, where is it?

Thanks

Press trip button on dash till dic reads "oil life remaining --%"
then hold reset button for a few seconds .

Put key in the "on" position and pump the gas pedal three times.

It's in your owners manual. If you don't have one of the manuals, you can download an electronic version from gmpartshouse.com.

first part is right..but you don't have to pump the gas pedal three time...just find the oil % life in the DIC...then press and hold reset...and your back to 100%

Correct two ways to clear it, sorry if I was not clear about that.
