It wasn't too long ago that some of the infamous Rampart Street station police were busted because they were not only gang members but they were part of a car theft ring.
L.A. County Sheriff Department has had it's share of trouble with the same thing.
Don't get me wrong, I fully support our local leo's and have many friends that are currently in service. But even they will tell you to be careful who you trust.
