Default Windows and convertible top

I've searched the owners manual of my 03 convertible but can't find the answer. When raising the top press the storage compartment release button. After pressing the release button the driver and passenger door glass should retract to the full down position. It does. My question is after securing the top I've got to get back in the car, turn the ignition on and raise the windows? The windows don't go up automatically? I ask because every convertible I've owned this was automatic. This is my first convertible vette.

Yes, windows must be raised manually. The only way around this that I know is to buy the window valet. Then you can click lock 3 times on your FOB and it will raise your windows. To be honest, if you have a vert, you really must get the valet. You can also click unlock 3 times and it will roll down the windows and turn on the radio - must have

I was annoyed by the window roll up thing as well. The window valet solves this problem! One of the best things I've done to my Vert.

I see they put the Corvette tax on those too. The one for Corvettes are $149.99 and the one for Chevy trucks and SUV's are only $129.99 and they look the same.

Just went to their website, read their stuff watched their videos. Very cool. Between this and my filter mag I have one badass vette. Now I won't have to climb back in just to roll up the windows. If I were younger and slimmer this wouldn't be a problem, but getting in my vette I've been compared to John Glenn getting into Friendship 7.
