Thanks everyone! Not bad for a 15 year old 78,000 mile car!

My brother is a local police officer and another officer that is a friend of ours was K9. He, my brother, and a couple other officers were involved in a shoot out, unfortunately the K9 officer was shot in the foot and Kilo his police K9 was shot and killed in the incident. Shortly afterwards, they held a fundraiser car show for the injured officer and for Kilo so I made up the hood insert.

Your car is beautiful. You are so right about the weather finally lifting and getting some sun. Some great Corvette days are finally here.

All c5s came factory with manual tops. The piece just in front of the trunk opens in reverse of the trunk suicide like. The top then flips up you then close the lid and the back of the top goes down, then latch the 2 handles in the front. Takes about 10 seconds.

Here's a video I found...

Here's another... C6 works just like c5 but this one has power top option..

Nice. Really a clean '98.

What are your impressions of the anti-venom mod? I was thinking of trying it too.

Very happy! Definitely worth the couple bucks for washers! I used 2. I just have the stock shifter, makes shifting smoother, still a little "notchy" but takes a lot less effort. Easy to do also.
