Default pfadt transmission mount

Hey guys I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone has installed the pfadt transmission mount? I am having a bad vibration issue. Any help is appreciated!

check to make sure the pads on each end are making firm contact with the cradle, there should be shims that came with the mount that can be installed underneath the pads to sandwich them in between the mount and cradle

Also, make sure your dampener is removed from the diff. I used 1/8" thick pad made from a cut up silicone intake connector to fit between cradle and the main center mount. I've had zero vibration in mine.

Didn't someone post here that if you used them on the trans that you need to have them on the engine as well?

I tried all they stuff. I used the shims and took off that counterweight on the driver side of the diff. I still have a vibration. Could I have bent something while lifting the diff?

Do you also have urethane engine mounts?

That could be your problem then. I wouldn't personally have a urethane trans mount without urethane engine mounts. If the engine mounts are soft all driveline vibrations will transmit through the harder trans mount causing more vibrations in that area and more stress at the trans mounting point. IMO, It's much better to have urethane at all 3 mounting points to tie it all together.
