It looks awesome with them on, especially on your car. I think the space looks too empty without them, of course I am a bit biased.

In my opinion seeing you asked, Get rid of the black wheels and replace them with some nice Aluminum wheels and it will look great, As it is now too much black in my opinion.

I don't care for them period, even on an 06. Rule 1: Your car, your preferences are what counts.

Where can your mod be purchased?

These are awesome! This is how the Z06 should have come from the factory!

I love the C5 design, however compared to the integrated C6 Z06 rear brake ducts, the OEM C5Z rear brake ducts look like an aftermarket afterthought.

If I were to have them, these would be it.

I have almost the same setup, except a white halo and was considering the side vents myself. I wonder how they would look with the white halo?

less is more in this case. I dont think you'll overheat the brakes without em... (yes, I know they're cosmetic only)

I painted mine the body color as I do not like the looks of them. They still look good after 2 years.

This was my very first attempt at body work. I did these about ten years ago. They are fully functional. The ducts themselves come from BPP ( Breathless performance products), they come complete with outer and inner ducts. the cost back then was 389.00. I spent 40 hours, cutting and fitting and glassing them in, then sanding and filling. I had a body shop paint them. They said I did a good job and could have installed them and painted for 800 dollars. I wanted to try doing some body work and if I screwed it up, I would have someone fix it. What I did in 40 hours would have taken the body shop 10 hours. The body shop charged me 150.00 dollars to paint both rockers. Its a 1200 mod but it's much cleaner and nicer looking than the soft ABS Z06 style ducts.
ABS is way too soft as a sub straight for paint. The paint will come off easily because of sand and other road debris. My ducts are fiberglass, much harder than ABS and much more able to handle any road debris.
