Can you explain how a '26 Model T is the first car you ever owned? Are you going to tell us that you leased prior to that (leasing cars wasn't even a common thing 40 years ago)? Since a '26 Model T wasn't a daily driver to anyone under 100 years old then that means you are either pulling our leg or...

When I was 19 years old I bought a 1926 Model T sedan, fully restored, for $ 475.00. This was when I lived in Seattle in 1962. The car was my only car and was my daily driver. When taking my lady friend places we always found a crowd around the car when we returned to it. Naturally after getting her in the car I would start it by using the hand crank to give a little show to the spectators. This was when the World's Fair was in Seattle. I was allowed to cut through lines of cars, etc. during all of the traffic jams around the fair. People were much more tolerant then. My lady friend said the car had a "charming, seductive personality". I do not think she ever said that of me.

I'm old enough to be "pre-mullet"....just long hair all over at that time.
Had a lot of fun in that van. Banana yellow with reverse chromes and moons.
.....and I was more into middle schools.......

Took my driving test in my brother's 51 Ford. The examiner flunked me for driving too fast on the turns.
My first car was a 53 Merc 3 spd with overdrive. Had dual glasspacks.

I see great minds think alike....'59 Chevy for first owned.
Don't know if I could let a '64 'vert go. That's my favorite body style!
