GM could not make the paint consistant on the car's so they stopped making them.

I saw one at a local show last year and to be honest, I didn't like the color. I know it's rare per the information above, however at the same show I saw a Medium Purple Pearl Majestic Amethys C5 that looked a lot nicer IMO.

Agree completely. I think the Daytona Sunset Orange is nicer than the aztec gold. They aren't that far apart in the color spectrum.

Needs tinted windows and black wheels sorry, but those chrome/polished/silver just don't cut it at all on gold in my opinion. Look like a cheap add on to me, I know some don't like black wheels and think they look cheap but rare or not wouldn't park in my garage with those.

It was offered for only one year, but the picture above had three sets of OEM wheels so I think the thin spokes were the add-ons. Out of the three, I think the magnesium look the best, but darker wheels would probably match up good with the color.

I usually don't like black wheels, however I do like the darker gunmetal wheels especially on White, Lemans Blue and Red C5s.

I've said it before.... love the Aztec Gold. If neon yellow is not too flashy, than AG is practically earth tone. If I had a pair, I'd paint my Z in AG, with black stripes.

Great color for a street rod. Not a good color for a C5.

I saw one of the Aztec Gold C5s at Kerbecks when I stopped by after buying my '03. I will agree, the car looked great in that color. Too bad they couldn't get it to where all the body panels matched.

Well, my other one had dress a lil higher even though she has panties/thong and it was pulled because it was said to have a naked/bare butt and wasn't allowed. But that's fine I guess I understand even though you see way worse than that almost anywhere now a days, any store, any street almost any channel on tv. Heck, you can see that much on Amish TV .

She even said the gold needs black shoes to make it pop.

There used to be an Aztec Gold Coupe around OKC. I haven't seen it in a couple of years though.
