Default Bendpak 4 Post Lift

I just finished installing what to me was a huge/heavy project by installing a 4 post lift in my garage. For the most part the job went very well but would certainly have been easier with one or two helpers. Although it is brand new, I am impressed with the product.

Congrats! I have heard nothing but good things about the Bendpak lift. We need some pics!

(Although I still think "Bendpak" is a really bad name for a lift!)

That's great! I put my Direct Lift 4 post up myself as well. It does take some creative ideas to move around 1500+ lbs of steel. You will enjoy life with a lift!

Default Hmmm..I just had a Bendpak HD9 installed

And it won't raise..It starts to lift and then it stops after about 2 inches..It sounds like the motor is straining. Almost like it's not fully unlocked.
Any thoughts on what's causing it to not go up?

Thanks
J
