Started researching anti venom
Do people do this procedure to help the stock shifter, or is this only done if you install a short shifter. Seems like a easy cheap procedure.

Both. Try it, if you don't like it you can remove it easy enough

Idid it for my stock unit, since I took 1 3/4" from the shaft . Easy and it works great.

First time Ive ever heard a guy openly admit he lost 1 3/4" off the shaft and sounded happy about it...
