my car is already lowered an inch but i have 30 series tires in the back and 35 series in the front instead of the 35 in back 40 in front. so it looks higher. but i will be lowering it some and getting it aligned sometime soon.
but it will not be dragging on the ground all the time like yours and shants. f that

That's how mine "were" but I'm changing them up for the new them/look I'm going with on my FRC. Bolts are cerakoted (ceramic coating used for guns) in a zombie green and I'm planning to do the inserts (inside the spokes) and inner barrels in the same zombie green. They will certainly be unique when all is said and done. Think WWII P40 Thunderbolt theme done over torch red with a zombie spin.

Here's a couple pics of my new 19" SP551's in HyperSilver just as they came out of the box. Mounted new 275/35/19 & 335/30/19 Nitto NT-05's on them Friday and installed everything Saturday morning. Will take a few pics of them on my car this week.

Those look great! What finish is that? Hypersilver or Hyperblack?
Finally, a member of Club CCW...
What's strange to me is that I still have yet to see another vette driving down the road with CCW's (with the exception of car shows). However, they're super common among forum members.
Just purchased these from forum member Chicago
(It usually doesn't sit quite this high...car's suspension is still settling after being jacked up)

Jim,I love the FM-5's but didn't choose them for two reasons. One was the cost as I couldn't afford it. Two,there are too many ZR-1's out there with them. CCW wheels are hard to beat for best bang for your bucks.
IMO,the CCW SP550's would look great on your car. John @ CCW sent me some pics of a QuickSilver C5 coupe with 19" SP550's coated Argent Silver and those convinced me either the 550's or 551's were what I wanted.
Hopefully,I can get some photos of my car today so I can post them here.

Clint, looking forward to the pics! Honestly, if CCW made the 550's in the "hybrid" or 3 piece style, I'd be hard pressed not to seriously consider them. A brushed center with a fully polished rim/inner barrel! Heck yea! Even though there are a lot of Z's out there with Fikse's, that's just the right classic rim for the C4. I feel that way about C5's and CCW's. As a former C5 guy who loves the CCW's on them, I'm still on the fence about which ones I like best for my C4 Z. Could be worse problems to have I guess!

PM me your email address and I'll send you the pics of the SP550's.
Just as I was pulling the car out of the garage for photos a few minutes ago,it started raining. We're under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, right now.

From what I remember when discussing rim options back in November the Hybrids would not fit a C5.
I had to get 2" lip F & R in the SP series to keep my tires inside the fender line & requested a custom offset as well.

Ok,hopefully these photos will grant me membership in Club CCW. Wheels are 19x10 & 19x11.5 CCW SP551's in HyperSilver powdercoating. Tires are 275/35/19 & 335/30/19 Nitto NT-05's. Rear lip is 3" and the front is 1". Narrow front lip was necessary to fit C6 Z06 front brakes in future.
