Even this wide, they excel at cornering, but aren't any substitute for DRs at my power level. On a related note, the iForge is an excellent wheel that's less expensive than HRE; not that I'd pay that much. I traded for these used from CF member Factory Race Car, so you might want to take your time, and find a bargain.

Here's a different view.
What size are you running up front? Thanks for the info!

265-35/18 on the fronts. Maybe 275s, but I'm not sure.

complete thread tangent, but 500whp plus would be the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the 5k plan.
Seriously.

If you really like HREs keep an eye out for some used. I bought mine used off of the forum several years ago for much less than new.

Those look fantastic! What sizes?

And yes, it would look a little better if lowered more.

Thanks Toque, I am down 3/4" on stock bolts It does look better in person, I took the pics from a low angle. I drive my car hard and understand that GM engineered the cars suspension to function a certain way, I will probably crank it down the rest of the way but you won't catch me pulling out the front bolts or the aftermarket bolt system. I might consider coil overs if I can find some that ride nice.
The wheels are absolutely awesome and only weigh slightly more then stock, I highly recommend Finspeed to anyone looking for something a little different and a great quality wheel at a fair price!

I am lowered 3/4" on the stock bolts I am going to crank them all the way but I am A little surprised at guys pulling out the stock bolts and screwing up the cars driveability and even making them dangerous if they actually drive the car like it was designed to be driven, however if they are more into looks then function that's cool too. I also don't see how the hell they can drive the car on anything but a flat surface, oh well I do agree lower looks better for sure.
