Thank's to Toque for finding and posting the Finspeed wheels, they seem to be fantastic. The owner speaks with you directly in the design of the wheel the offset etc. these will basically be a one off wheel built to my specs. I had no Idea wheel manufactures do this, I am guessing they are the rare rather then the norm, they have already done renderings and are working on the final design and will actually do a mock up on my vehicle to show how the wheel and tire fit the car. Amazing stuff, if the wheels are half as good as the service to this point I will be a happy camper.
I have yet to see a set on the forum !
What design did you go with ?

Going with a variation of the F 5 they will have more concave then what is shown in this thread and a slight difference to the spoke design, and will be a brushed finish with a slight smoke clear coat. He is going to take care of the tires as well, the jury is still out on that, what would you recommend for about a grand? Thanks again Toque and by the way I have referenced your web page quite often to help me get through service and to help me decide on future upgrades. Larger drilled and slotted rotors are next. By the way your car is off the hook!

I have been wanting to try black wheels on my car, thanks for the idea, I have my stock wheels stored on top of the office at the shop..
A powercoat shop moved in just 3 buildings away, don't know if they are any good but I would think so, with all the stuff on trucks going and coming from there..
Going down in the A.M. and see what kind of money they want.. Any idea how much?

Is ur car gonna be raced or just driven nice and easy or semi aggressive?
My car had Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Tires and i purchased new wheels with toyo proxes 4 plus.
Toyo Proxes-4 Plus is ultra-high performance, all-season tire
All i can say is the tire has amazing grip and the best part about it its SUPER QUIET i cant even hear tires.
With my old Firestone tires the car was very loud i though its normal because its a sports car with not much isolation.

On the topic of Tires. You have some choices. For a Grand the Hankook's seem to be liked by many. Some folks that drive them hard report some flex in turns that makes them feel uneasy though. The Nitto Invo's also have some good reviews. For a little more I really like my Bridgestone RE-11's. I got them installed and tax included for $1340 at the Firestone dealer locally.
I assume your going to be running 9.5-10" on the front and 10.5-11" on the rear.
If your going with a 18/19 setup I recommend:
275/35/18, and 305/30/19
If your going with a 19/19 setup I recommend:
275/30/18, and 305/30/19
You will not have any issues with Active Handling or Traction control with these sizes above.
Be sure to post pics ! I really want to see how they turn out !

Actually a lot of people would spend that kind of money that's why company's sell them, from the looks of your avatar I bet you would go with black rims, and black windows and black side markers and tail lights and black well you get the idea. Hey but that works for you and that's all good so I won't rip you for your personal choice, get my drift?

I've been researching tires lately, and the Bridgestone RE 760s seem to be well liked. Go to the TireRack and read some of the reviews from guys with Z06s. The Bridgestones are cheaper than some in their class also.

Don't have the final specs/offset/weight yet at least not exactly until they mill them but they should be about a pound lighter than stock maybe more, they will be 18x10 & 19x11. I should have the final renderings today or tomorrow.

If you look straight down along the line of the tire, there's about 1/2" of the rounded outer portion of the tread showing. It's not noticeable unless you are at this exact vantage point. No interference with any existing body parts, and it's been lowered on stock bolts. Toque is correct; the Invos are about 5mm narrower tread width than some other brands. Even this wide, they excel at cornering, but aren't any substitute for DRs at my power level. On a related note, the iForge is an excellent wheel that's less expensive than HRE; not that I'd pay that much. I traded for these used from CF member Factory Race Car, so you might want to take your time, and find a bargain.
Here's a different view.
