Robert-- there's also a first saturday of the month (this weekend) Corvette gathering beginning at -0730 at Corvette Performance on Scottsdale Road just south of Thomas on the west side of the road (north of Oak)-- usually 60-90 cars . .
Free coffee and donuts . . good chatter, nice cars . . cool shop.

Thanks for the tip. I've heard the commercials on the radio and been meaning to check it out. Might have to do that today or tomorrow. I live only a couple miles from this location.

Went and had a firehouse sub today. Pretty darn good. Had the brisket and cheddar. Didn't have the vette though. Looks like the parking lot will hold a few cars. I was going to talk to someone about having a lunch meet there but they were pretty busy. Will have to do that some other time. Anyway, great restaurant you have there. I usually have to work Saturdays and Sundays so if I have a day off I will see what's going on.
Here is a picture of what I drive. If you see a purple C5 running around it's probably mine as there are only a couple of them here in AZ.

Great fuel consumption, if fuel economy is important then don't go at the head of the pack on the ACE runs, I'm lucky if I get 1/2 to 2/3 of those figures... Like someone else said, check out the ACE site and put your name down for the Gila Bend BBQ, at last count there was around 100 Vetts going and there is wide age gap.
