Maxx,
I'll give it to you straight. I probably received one of the first of the batch of Xtreme bumpers. That's been 2 years ago. I have an extremely competent body shop guy who had to put extra time in to get it to fit right. The bumper is certainly not for amateur body shop people but, after conversing with Pete at Corvette Creationz awhile back about the fitment issues, I hope the newer batches are a little easier to fit.
Overall, the bumper turned out fantastic. I couldn't be happier with it. It's a tie between the fender flares and fascia as to what gets complimented more. Hope this helps with your decision.

The rear fascia you're running is Corvette Creationz's extreme bumper correct? I believe i've seen your car on the website before....
Mind me asking how well was the overall fitment of the product and if there was any big issues installing? I do know all body parts need proper fitting, sanding, prepping etc, but at the same time an unreasonable amount of work to get it to fit properly would be a turn off. I've been eyeballing it for a couple of months now but haven't really seen many cars on the forum run it.

[QUOTE=Phillip50;1587623624]You bet!! I like the C5, C6, C7 body styles and there are exceptional examples of each of generation that some owners have modded very tastefully making them timeless in design

My rear fascia was made my SpecterWerkes, quite possibly before Carbon Creationz was an idea in someones head. I don't believe they are still in business but I could be wrong. The fiberglass rear fascia did not require much prep work and fit well without hassle. It was a component of their C5 GTR that they sold as a complete car with other body components and engine upgrades so maybe they put a little extra care into their fitment and finish....or maybe I was lucky. That piece has been on my car since late 2005/early 2006, give or take.
I will say this in defense of the Corvette Creationz bumper that although the fitment was off, the lip of the spoiler is a little more pronounced than the GTR and after 2 years of being fitted with no problems, I can't complain. I still got the look, I was wanting

[QUOTE=meflyfrc;1587627607]I will likely order from West Coast Corvettes as they sell the L5 products (I've seen a number of complaints dealing directly with Lewis Five Motorsports). I would actually prefer the TPE flared fronts but if you Google them you will see lots of negative remarks about dealing with the owner Jeff Goss. Jeff was a supporting vendor at one time on the CF under the name American Horsepower and I remember all too well when he opened for business there were many forum members that failed to have transactions resolved. If a large reputable distributor like WCC sold the TPE fenders I would purchase from them as I do not need the headaches of dealing with any individual or small company with delivery issues.
