MTI Racing Six Shooter Sequential Transmission Conversion System
MTI Racing proudly announces their new Six Shooter Sequential Transmission Conversion System. This conversion comes complete with everything you will need for no-lift, clutch-less upshifts and automatic rev-matching down shifts. The conversion system is comprised of:
- sequential transmission
- shifter
- shift linkage
- load cell shift ****
- neutral/reverse lockout
- electronic control unit (ECU)
Corvette platforms currently supported include: C5, C6, C6 Z06, and ZR1. The upgraded transmission fits without vehicle modification and bolts directly to a factory differential and driveline.
MTI Racing has partnered with Pfitzner Performance Gearboxes (PPG) for this exciting endeavor. PPG is an Australian based company with a well-built reputation as being one of the world’s leading providers of gears for track and motorsports. Specifically, PPG supplies many of the gears for the Australian V8 Super Cars Series. With over 600 HP, these cars see massive abuse every time they take the track.
Think how long it takes to blink your eye just once; the average speed is about 300 milliseconds. With shift times as low as 50 milliseconds, gear changes are done in a fraction of the time that it takes to complete one blink of the eye. This gives you, the driver, the ability to shift faster than other drivers and creates a true competitive edge over your opponents.
While the full video is still in production, enjoy the intro video created from our exciting test program. Stay tuned for updates!

Please post the link to the test video.
How does the control module interface with the existing car electronics ? Is any custom programming of the ECM necessary ?
What is the price point on the transmissions and accessories ?

It doesn't interface with the existing electronics at all. There is a separate ECU for the transmission only and you won't need to reprogram the ECM.

When i first looked at the thread, the video block was a big red X. It now shows up. Thanks for answering the question on the programming. Still want to know what the price point is -- are you more or less expensive than the LG Motorsports or Saenz sequential conversion ?? If you don't have a final price how about a budget ---- we need to know the price to know if this is even within the realm of reason.

In a ZR1 thread he said " A little above $20k and there will be a paddle shift option".

We are looking in the $23,000 for the complete kit installed at MTI racing. We will also have a paddle shift option available. Check the pics below for the traditional shifter we are designing for the transmission. We CNC all the parts in our in house cnc machine shop.

What is cheap and the reason why you are selling it?
How long have you had it?
Did it come with the downshift rev matching feature?
