Need new tires for 04 Z
Looking for input on a new set of tires on stock rims. Ride comfort and looks are the most important and price as well. Leaning towards a set of Michelin Pilot PS2's just a little pricey best price out here is $1660 with road force balance. Looking to soften up the ride a bit since lowering on stock bolts. Thanks fellas

I had ps2's on my M6. They did ok new, but quickly became noisy and hard. I have a set of Conti Extreme Contact DW tires on there now, and 1.5 years later they are still quiet, soft, and have tons of tread left......and they hold 550 hp pretty good
Not sure if they make the right sizes for the z06 but would be worth checking out.

Vredesteins! Call Fairmont tires. $860 shipped. They're quiet, perform great and are THE best on wet roads. They dont make 265 up front so get 275. You wont even notice the difference. Search vredestein in this forum and you'll find a huge thread ALL about em. Peace!

A very similar tire would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE760. I'm trying these out for the heck of it, although I only have them on the front at the moment. They're just as quiet as the DW's, if not a little quieter. The sidewall is slightly stiffer than the DW's, but not stiff by any means.
Both the Continentals and the Bridgestones would be $1000 or less (installed) for all four.

I put bridgestone potenza re760 and have been very happy with them, they were were affordable and performance is good. I think the michelins are probably best but you can almost install two sets of these for the price of one PS2 set.
