Questions For ZO6 Owners
Hey all,
A friend at work is considering a C5-ZO6. He has some questions that I am not 100% sure about.
1) Does the ZO6 have the same steel frame as the coupe & convertible? He asks if it is aluminum.
2) Is the stance the same as well?
I think the answer to both questions is "yes" but want to confirm.
I think he has the C6-ZO6 mixed up with the C5-ZO6. I want to be accurate in my response for the C5-ZO6.
For the record, what are the primary differences with the C5-ZO6 compared to the other C5s of the same years? I am talking 2002-2004 model years here.

Answers to your questions.
1) Same steel frame on all C5 cars. C6-Z06 had aluminum frame.
2) C5 Z06 has wider wheels and tires than were used on coupe and vert.
3) Primary differences between Z06 and coupe / vert were, more HP, stiffer suspension, wider wheels/tires, lighter - thinner window glass, cost more $.
