Default 70 today-Too old to drive a Vette?

Hit the big 70 today. I'm a genuine "old fart" now. Still have all my hair ( a slightly different color now-matches my Pewter coupe) and my "curb weight" is slightly more than it was a few years ago. Now the mileage on my coupe and my age match. Maybe too old to be driving a Vette. Been thinking of possibly getting something more suited for a person my age..........like a nice street rod. How many "old farts" over 70 out there still driving Vettes?

I hope you're not too old. I'm going to be 68 next month, and I don't want to sell either of mine due to my age, not their's.

I think a call to the Scooter store is in line. , I am right behind you in age. I will be there before you know it.
Congrats on the big 70, As long as you can get in and out of the Vette you are good to go.

No need to stop driving a Vette just because you turned 70 - heck, what better way to celebrate your birthday than going for a nice cruise in the car. Congrats on hitting 70 - I hope I'm still able to drive mine when I reach that age.

Happy Birthday.

Happy birthday!! With due respect, Shame on you for thinking that way. Get in that car and show all the other grey hairs that this is what its all about. I can assure you most people could only dream of being your age and still able to have a corvette, let alone still be able to drive it.
My folks have a 63 SS impala that they show and there both 84. So there you go.

Are you serious, I was 54 before before I could afford a C4, be damned if I am going to stop driving my C5 because of my age(61), the vette looks good and I feel great driving it!! Its your money, enjoy your toy!!!!

Too old to drive a Vette?
HELL NO!
I hope you drive it til they have to pry the steering wheel out of your hands.
That is, unless your driving in the left lane at 40 MPH with your left turn signal on. Well, then, maybe....?
Happy 70th!!!

Oh, My!! I'm getting there (64), but I'm still planning on driving the Vette and my T-Bucket street rod forEVER! Would like to add a vert C7 in the future. My wife drives a Mustang vert. These are all pampered seasonal cars so they are extra special when the weather is right. Our grandkids think we are super-cool! On those days when we pretend to act our age, we both drive Honda Civics LOL!
