Who will be eyeing a C6 Z06 purchase now that the C7 is right around the corner?
I'm keeping my C5 Z06, but I've been wanting a C6 Z06 ever since 2006, but the prices have just been too high. I'm thinking that after the C7 hits the streets, the prices on C6's / C6 Z06's will drop even further; certainly after the C7 Z06 (if there is one) is introduced. I, for one, am planning on getting a nice C6 Z06 in the next year or so. Was just wondering if any other C5 Z06 owners were thinking the same thoughts??!!

A couple years out for me still (at least). Once a low mile C6Z is the same price I paid for my C5, I'll consider it. Till then, I'm having lots of fun with my C5Z.

I've owned my C5Z since it was new and I never felt the need to move to a C6Z. I'm ready to sell it for a C7.

I'm keeping an eye on prices and will purchase one when they get into the upper 20's or lower 30's. People are still asking crazy prices right now. Plus, my C5Z is still relatively new to me and I'm in the middle of a H/C/I swap. When complete the car will be complete and with my mods should surpass stock C6Z peformance. I'm happy waiting.

I'll sacrifice these two when the time/price is right.... Would love to have a C6Z sitting next to my C5Z.... That would be the ultimate!

^^^^ Nice toys!!!
As weird as it sounds for me to say this coming from owning a 2007 c6 and enjoying the interior to getting into my c5z06 I just love the look of the FRC! If I could have it my way I'd have the exterior of the c5z06 with the LS7 and C6 interior... my two cents

Im waiting for my C5Z to come back from the paint shop. Will look brand new and it helps that its paid for and runs like a scalded ape. No interest in parting with my baby for a long while. I would certainly wait until the second year that the C7 is out, hopefully it will be bug free unlike the first C6. Who can forget drivers getting locked in/out of their cars and having to climb in/out of the back hatch, among other things. And Im also hoping that when the C7Z,if there is one, hits the street, there will be some differentiation from the standard car. But for now, my freshly painted C5Z will do as my new car.

Keeping the c5, but there is something very intriguing about that 427.....there is no replacement for displacement!
It is my understanding that GM has ceased production of the ls7.

Not me. I have too much invested in my C5Z (forged motor, heads, cam, headers, supercharger, ccw's, etc....) Plus - I'd be starting all over with a much slower car.
Only way I get a C6Z is if my C5Z were stolen or wrecked (which I pray never happens)

My C5Z is fairly modded with FI and forged motor. I thought about
a C6Z, and after a reasonable amount of seat time in them, I decided
that I prefer my C5. Now the C7 has been unveiled and unless it looks
much better in person, I have no interest in going that route.
Then there is the C6 ZR1. I think the ZR1 is head and shoulders above
the other models be they C5 or C6. Great ride, looks, and stump pulling
power at almost any rpm. I would trade my car for the ZR1 in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the large stack of bills that would have to be
inside my car to make that trade is just more than I feel comfortable
with. I will pick up a nice ZR1 in 2-3 years when a well kept, low mile
example can be had in the $50k range. I can live with that.
Again just IMHO,

I had wanted for a while to add a c6z at some point but now after seeing how awesome the c7 is , I can only imagine how much more awesome the c7z will be if they make one so ill eventually go that route. By eventually I mean at least 15 years from now. I want to get a c2 and a viper first.
