10 years ago today....
My C5 rolled off the Bowling Green assembly line. I've owned it since September 4, 2009 and have enjoyed every moment - still get a huge every time I get behind the wheel. So, happy birthday to my electron blue coupe - and looking forward to many more years together.
Here's a few pics.
When I first got the car:
On the drive home after picking up the car in NJ, I made a detour to the National Corvette Museum for the Labor Day celebration. Dana Forrester, who designed the graphics package for the Milestone Edition cars, was there as a vendor and I was able to snap this picture of him with my fuel rail cover that he had signed when the car was new.
The car has gone through a lot of changes over the years (seems like I can always find something to spend my money on ).
Here's how it looked with a set of new wheels that I ran for a little while.
Fast forward to today. While I am still doing a few mods over the winter, here's what the car looked like before I put it in hibernation until spring.
Got to give GM credit - they sure did it right with the C5.

WOW !
My AE will be 10 tomorrow (1/15)
I got mine on the 18th of January 2003, and I too was at the 50th Celebration in Bowling Green and Nashville. The wife and I had a great time with all the activities and sights. We talk about it fondly and often.
Ten years and still my face HURTS from all the SMILES

Very nice ride. I think Electron blue is the best color, hands down. Gorgeous interior and engine compartment. And I like your side graphics too! Very unique.

Yes, they are the Lloyds. Got them from Chip at CCA a couple of years ago.

Is there somewhere else to find out the build date? The one I'm getting may have a build sheet - I'm not sure yet. I don't want to fork out 45 to Corette Museum if I can avoid it.
I've looked at various sites but the vin of mine isn't listed....
104723 is the number. I can probably find it when I get the car - was just curious given this thread.
