Default JP Montoya

Montoya was just shown on the coverage of Speedweeks at Daytona playing some iPad racing game. It looks cool but I didn't catch the name. Maybe you can search and find it if interested.

Anyway, they showed Montoya giving a tour of the game and he demonstrated how you can buy cars and choose which car in your stable to race. His car of choice? A Corvette of course!! He just won a new fan!

Was it a C5 he chose or a C6? Anyway, nice that he picked a Vette.

Hope he does better this year, and stays away from the jet dryers.

LOL - yes

Funny story... I was at the race... the fire happened and I made a smart decision on a late Monday night to get in the car and drive back to Jacksonville (75 minutes away with no traffic). About two hours later I got home and watched the the conclusion of the race on TV without missing a single lap!

I know I might regret asking but since it’s a pet peeve of mine I got to ask. I’ve been to a lot of Nascar races up, and down the east coast I just don’t get why people leave before the race ends? I’ve been told its so they can beat the traffic if I wanted to beat the traffic I would just stay home. We just hangout until the traffic lets up then we head out.

As I already stated, the race had been rescheduled to Monday due to weather. So, it was a weeknight start and it was already 10pm when the fire happened. Had I waited it out, I would've gotten home at 4am at earliest, with work the next morning. Otherwise, I wouldn't leave a sporting event before the end. Had it started Sunday at 1pm as originally scheduled that would have been totally different.
