68 silver Convertible 327/350 2 tops, age 20, my first vette
69 Coupe 350/350 burgandy age 22, wanted A/C
69 maroon Conv., wrecked and rebuilt with mako shark mods (pos)
69 blue coupe 427/390, flipped it to make a buck
74 coupe 350/4 speed red, cheap car, no A/C, flipped it a year later
85 coupe 4+3, white, early tuned port injection - ran well
81 coupe - my only automatic, low power, heavy car, low performance
02 vert - current ride, 6 speed

All were manual transmission except the 1981. All were unmoleted, box stock expect the 69 mako which was a bad mod decision made by a previous owner. The 81 was a slug but it was a clean low mileage original car I never enjoyed driving. I hated the automatic and lack of power

Vet feva2, Your red one is awesome. One of the best I've seen yet. Og course I'm very partial to the color but over all the car is done beautifully.

Six.

2001 coupe, yellow 6spd, purchased new and sold in 2007.

I still have the other five, listed in order of purchase.

2007 coupe, silver 6spd, new in 2007.
1970 coupe, blue 350/350 4spd purchased in 2008.
1968 convertible, silver 327/350 4spd purchased in 2009.
1966 coupe, yellow 327/300 4spd purchased in 2011.
2004 Z06, yellow purchased in August of this year.

I'm sure there will be a C7 in the future.

1. 1965 Glen Green 365 hp solid lifter 4spd Roadster
2. 1973 Silver 350 4spd Coupe
3. 1980 White L82 4spd
4. 1964 Riverside Red 327 300hp 4spd Roadster
5. 1996 Silver Anniversary Coupe
6. 2002 Quicksilver Z06.

Loved the '65, but the '02 C5Z is still hard to beat. Didn't like the '73 or '80 at all.

ELEVEN! The C5 Z06 is my favorite. I also liked the '60 for pure fun, but it was a handful to drive with a racing clutch that strengthened my left leg considerably. The 1972 was the only one that gave me a lot of trouble after the fan clutch failed at 3000 miles and the fan came through the hood.. everything replaced under warranty. All were bought new except the '60 and the '65 fuelie. I've had a lifelong love affair with these wonderful cars.
