Hey guys a local shop rebuild my 97' T56 transmission, and when I asked what fluid was used he replied standard dex 3 ATF fluid. The transmission was rebuilt in stock form so I believe it still has the paper blocker rings etc. The shifting feels much more notchy with this fluid, what quality fluid should I change it to? Also I believe I was running Redline fluid in my rear differential, and they filled it with what the manual calls for (not sure what that is exactly) and lsd additive. Would that be bad going from synthetic back to oem fluids in the rear? Thanks guys, I need to buy the fluids tonight.
