Scroll down & check out "Not4spd's" yellow vette. He's running the setup you mentioned.

Same thing here on this thread.
I was typing without thinking. Thanks for the correction!

I bought mine from ModBargains, but I paid more than $1280 that's for sure. If that's actually the correct price, I'd pull the trigger.

Have anyone of you cracked a Forgestar F14 wheel yet? I was considering buying a set, until I read some reviews on cracked rims on other brand cars.
thanks,
Steve

Nope. I too saw a couple old posts with guys that had cracked rims...but no issues on my end.
AND...I figure if I ever have one that cracks, it's only $300-400 for a new rim in the worst case scenario.

I remember the axle's sticking out in the rear and the caps barely going on...but they did, don't look strange/funny, and have stayed in place for plenty of miles.
Went in the garage...
The caps on the rear are sticking out a bit further than the front, but I'd say it is a non issue. Didn't even remember it until you brought it up.

For those that own Forgestar F14s, can anybody comment on the hub rings? I received my wheels and wanted to test fit them today, however, the plastic hub rings don't fit inside the wheel bore. Even with lots of hand pressure, no go! I will definitely break them if I try any harder.
I emailed my vendor and he said it's common on to have to 'sand' the wheel bore to thin down the powder coat until the rings fit. Is this true? A brand new wheel needs to be sanded by me to get the hub rings to fit? This sounds like BS to me.
Has anybody had to do this with their setup? If so, how did you do it so that it was an even sand all the way around? I just can't understand how brand new wheels need any type of intervention by the new owners to make something that came with the wheels fit.
Any help is appreciated.

My gloss gunmetal did not have to be sanded down in order for the rings to fit. They were tight though and looked like yours when I tried to put them on initially. Eventually they went on. Try a rubber mallet or some Vaseline?
BTW...hope you got the raised center caps or you'll be grinding down those rear studs.
