Ti exhaust polish
Just purchased a set of Ti's from a member on here. I am trying metal polish to just try and clean them up. Seems to be in effective. Is there a titanium polish or tricks?
Thanks,
Nick

I restored mine very well sanding down all the baked grime using a high grit sand paper to finishing to a lower grit. Afterwards i used BLUE MAGIC Alluminum Polish. All i can say is wow...

I rather like the purplish/blue color they change, the hotter they get the more the color changes. I guess it's a shame I run it so hard..., but I like the character it adds!

I've cleaned road grime from a few sets of these. I always start off with a brass wire brush (Titanium is harder than brass so the brush won't hurt it no matter how hard you scrub) and some Simple Green and scrub until all the tar and grime are gone. It usually takes a few passes with hose-downs in between. I then use a good metal polish with a buffing wheel or just hand polish it to a shine. Works well.

Borla Polish
Borla sells a polish in a bottle for a great finish. I've used the brass brush method on older cats but never spent the time Patches must have. I have Corsas now and the Borla polish makes the inside of the tips look new.

I have had good results with 00 steal wool and glass cleaner, then follow up with mags metal polish or Semi Chrome on the tips.
PS(did you get your car high enough to put those baby's on) LOL

Steel wool isn't the best to use since it will leave behind small bits of steel that will rust, you could use some stainless steel wool and be fine but your best bet would be some brass wool.
